About the department
The Department of Diabetology has been functioning independently for the past 40 years. It initially started as an allied specialty outpatient unit under the Department of General Medicine. In the pre-COVID period, it extended its services by operating a dedicated Diabetology ward. Currently, the department offers comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services for diabetic management, playing a vital role in supporting other departments in managing diabetes-related complications.
